So our short and sweet trip to NYC is over. Our event at Well Rounded's Tips by Trimester was lots of fun (below). We met plenty of lovely pregnant women and got a chance to introduce them to Teat and Cosset. Don't forget to participate in their giveaway for a chance to win one of our tops!
Our trunk shows at Giggle and Pottery Barn Kids were full of great new people and old friends and one very hairy car ride (sorry mom!). We heard from people first hand, saw their reactions to our new collection and reconnected with old friends. We never know who's going to walk in through the door!
One of our favorite stops is the young company that warehouses and sends out our pieces. It's in Brooklyn, and the guys who run it are sweethearts and always professional. We hope they liked the Italian chocolates we brought over for them from Siena. We feel really lucky we can help support a small business in New York. We know first hand what that feels like.
We also did a luncheon at Barclays Bank for their women's network (below). The turnout was great and the ladies had tons of questions about how I started the business and the transition from banking to fashion design! They loved our collection and thought it was perfect for working moms.
It was also great catching up with Mackenzie who does marketing for us. Here is a silly (beauty filtered!) shot of us:
And what would a trip back home be without seeing friends?! Below is a shot of us eating at very yummy Lebanese restaurant Ilili - and Megs is wearing our Lia Tee - she's not a nursing mom but couldn't resist!:
